Mr. James Herman "Shanky" Hatcher, age 67, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 24, 1955 to Tollie & Fannie (Dooley) Hatcher Sr. James attended Whitehall Schools where he was a very good basketball player. He had been employed at various different factories in the area through the years. James liked to dance and enjoyed listening to music. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

4 brothers, Fred Hatcher, Tollie Hatcher, Tim (Marion) Hatcher, Jerry Hatcher; 2 sisters, Audrey Kennebrew, Annie Ruth Smith; Niece, Connie Kennebrew; nephew Darroyl Cooper; several other nieces and nephews.
