Ms. Shirley Jean Ezell-Jones, age 72, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022. She was born in Vardaman,MS on June 3, 1949 to Joseph Ezell and Annie (Gordon) Ezell. Shirley had been employed as a Cook for 28 years at Hackley Hospital then was hired as head cook at Muskegon Heights Public Schools until her retirement in 2011. She enjoyed cooking, going for rides to the beach, catering events, shopping and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She was also a proud mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed.
SURVIVORS
She leaves to cherish in her precious memories her children, Kenyatta Jones, Trena Richardson, and Charles Jones; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Benita Ezell, W. Ruth (Willie) Ezell- Byrd and Kathy Botello; 4 brothers, Larry Ezell Sr., Ronald Ezell, Lloyd Ezell, Stanley Ezell Sr.; special cousin, Jessie Mae James; an a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Friday, April 22, 2022, 12:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home Inc., 1469 Peck St, Muskegon, Michigan 49441. Interment will be at Mona View Cemetery.
