Mr. Robert Ernest Meyer, age 69, died Saturday, March 23, 2002 at his home. He was born in Davenport, Iowa on July 1, 1932 to Walter & Ella Christina Schroeder Meyer & married the former Patricia Henry on February 15, 1980. Mr. Meyer was in ROTC through high school & served his country from 1955 to 1961 in the US Air Force. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church & enjoyed golfing, camping & boating.

Wife, Patricia; mother, Ella Meyer of Davenport, IA; mother-in-law, Helen Henry of West Olive, MI; 5 sons, Jay Meyer of Elberta, AL, Dann Denise Baugh of Zeeland, MI, Kurt Meyer of Hollywood, CA, Jeff Betty Rubleski of Grand Haven, MI, Tony Kimberly Rubleski of Spring Lake, MI; 3 daughters, Debby Al Pueblo of Delton, MI, Roxanne Ken Koole of Portage, MI & Lisa Rubleski of Grand Haven, MI; 19 grandchildren; sister, Shirley Joe Felske of Sun City, AZ; brother, Richard Betty Meyer of Paxton, IL & a brother-in-law, Delmar Lemche of Davenport, IA. Mr. Meyer was preceded in death by his father, Walter Meyer; a son, Richard Meyer; a daughter, Jana Meyer; sister, Marilyn Lemcke & by his father-in-law, Morris Henry. Special thanks to Hospice of North Ottawa Community, Fr. Bill Langlois & Dr. Gordon VanOtteren.

SERVICE:

A Funeral Mass for Mr. Meyer will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Fr. William Langlois officiating. Interment at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens.

VISITATION:

Monday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home-Grand Haven. MEMORIAL: Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
