Woods, Norman Larry

Mr. Norman L. Woods age 67, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006. He was born February 16, 1939 in Muskegon Heights to Alvey and Ethel (Asprey) Woods. Mr. Woods had attended Bible Baptist Temple and enjoyed fishing, horse racing and Fury hockey. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserve after 23 years of service. He was employed at Ermanco and retired on June 16, 2004. SURVIVORS: 2 sons, Norman L. Woods II of Holton and David M. (Lauren) Woods of Dallas, TX; 2 daughters, Laura M. St. Amour and Sharon K. Woods both of Muskegon; 1 sister, Arlene (Rev. Harold) Pope of Liberty, TX; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at the Lee Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry L. DePoy officiating. VISITATION: Tuesday 6-8 p.m. INTERMENT: Mona View Cemetery with Military Rites under the auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. MEMORIAL: American Cancer Society.
