Winona Farrington

Mrs. Winona Eileen Farrington, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on March 18, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. She married Allen Farrington 58 years ago. Winona will be missed by her husband, Allen; daughters, Sandy (Ron) VanderKooi, Debby (Terry) Leonard and Lynn Thomas; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 sisters, Kay (Glen) Cahoon and Sharon (Jim) Frantz; a brother-in-law, Ed Doerr and a daughter-in-law, Cheri (Ron) Firlit. She was preceded in death by her son Steven, her sister Naida Doerr and her brother, Duane Spoor. Winnie loved making crafts for her children and spending time with her family. She was active in the Bitely Women's Club and enjoyed mushrooming. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2PM Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Fruitland Covenant Church (4283 Weber Rd., Whitehall, MI) with Rev.
