Miss Winnie Bronsema, age 93, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 2, 1923 to Nicholas & Hilda (Bultema) Bronsema graduated from Muskegon High School. Miss Bronsema had been employed in the office at Lakey Foundry for 30 years until retiring in 1973 and in retirement, worked for Show N Tell at Meijer handing out food samples. Winnie attended Lakeside Baptist Church and took great pride in taking care of her family members throughout her life. The family would like to thank the staff at Sanctuary at McAuley for their loving care of Winnie. SURVIVORS Brother, John Bronsema; many nieces and nephews; special niece and caregiver, Kathy (Dr. David) Burlingame; good friends, Joanne Rudis & Phyllis Boynes. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruth Stivenga, Bessie Smith, Jennie Pierce, Kate Cooper & Betty Daniels. SERVICE Friday, April 28, 2017, 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Ken Shady officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Sanctuary at McAuley Activity Fund.
