Winifred Kostner

Mrs. Winifred Elizabeth Kostner, age 91, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012. She was born in St. Louis, MO on January 29, 1921 to Thomas & Mary (Curran) Filla and married Charles Anton Kostner on September 20, 1941. They were married for 59 years. Mrs. Kostner was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Women's Extension Club and TOPS. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and was an excellent cook and baker. SURVIVORS Survivors include a son, Tim A. Kostner of Huntington Beach, CA; two daughters, Mary Ann (Mike) DeVries of Holland & Eileen F. (John) Maag of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter-in-law, Diane Kostner of Muskegon; sister-in-law, Mildred Douglas of Grand Haven; grandchildren: Melissa Dykstra, Michelle Buckman, Stephanie Boes, Rhonda Glavich, Gary Kostner, Kristen Maag & Tamara Kostner; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Richard Kostner & James Charles Kostner; and two grandsons, Gregory Todd Kostner & Jeffrey Michael Maag. MEMORIAL SERVICE A Memorial Celebration of Life Mass will be announced in the spring of 2013.
