Willie E. Lofton

Mrs. Willie E. Lofton, age 89, died Friday, June 20, 2008, at Mercy Health Partners. She was a devoted and dedicated homemaker, mother, grandmother, and aunt; a faithful member of the Wood Street Seventh-day Adventist Church. Services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Muskegon Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Richard Washington officiating. Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be at the Wood Street Seventh-Day Adventist Church, June 26, from 12p.m. to 7 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew P. Lofton; brother, Elijah Clifford; baby son, mother, Queen Esther Clifford-Cockrell; father, Charlie Clifford. Survivors include three sons, Joe (Doris) Jordan, Jake Robinson and Robin "RD" Lofton; one daughter, Elizabeth Watson; four nephews, Jesse (Bev) Montgomery, Charles (Jimmie) Montgomery, Larry Montgomery; four nieces, three great nieces, Laura Clifford, Shela (John) Drew, Jacqueline Montgomery, Vernetta Thomas, Felicia Guity, Deborah Clifford-Moore, and Toni Clifford. God-daughter, Tatianna Kennelbrew.
