VAN DAM, MR. WILLIAM Twin Lake Mr. William Van Dam, age 85, died Wednesday, July 20, 2005. He was born in Muskegon, MI on January 31, 1920 to Jurrien & Jenny DeHorn Van Dam & married the former Priscilla Nienhuis who preceded him in death in 1988 & then married Shirley Runk. Mr. Van Dam served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He had been employed as an Engineer at Sealed Power Corp. for 40 years until retiring in 1962. He was a former member of Central Reformed Church & Society of Automotive Engineers. SURVIVORS Wife, Shirley; 1 son, David Donna Van Dam of Rochester Hills; 1 daughter, Diane Dale Bates of Twin Lake; 2 grandchildren, Eric & Michael Van Dam; 1 sister, Mina Gerrit Dolislager of Muskegon; step-daughter, Susan Yager of Muskegon; 1 step-son, David Annie Runk of Muskegon; 2 step-grandchildren, Melissa Yager & Melody Terry Murphy. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy; 1 sister, Ann Dykema; 2 brothers, Elmer & John Van Dam; 1 step-daughter, Tammy Runk & 1 step-grandson, Michael Yager. MEMORIAL SERVICE Monday, July 25, 2005, 2:00 PM, at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Tim VanderHaar officiating. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 1 hour prior to the service at the Clock Funeral Home. MEMORIAL: American Red Cross. Clock - Muskegon
