William Sutton Jr.

Mr. William H. Sutton Jr., age 75, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on August 3, 1935 to William Sr. & Pearl (Rosenberg) Sutton and served his country in the US Army. He married the former Shirley Mae Rinehart on March 24, 1962. Mr. Sutton had been employed as a Supervisor in the Planning Dept at Consumers Energy for 35 years until retiring in 1997. He was a member of Haven Shores Community Church. William was an avid Nascar fan who knew lot of drivers, taking his kids whenever he could go. He was also a huge sports fan who could give you any stat you wanted. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather whose family was everything to him. SURVIVORS Wife of 49 years, Shirley; sons, Steven (Janeen) Docsa of Kalamazoo, Eric Docsa of KY, Tony Sutton of Grand Haven; daughter, Wendy (Martin) Katerberg of Jenison; grandchildren, Jessie, Tyler, Scott, Sara, Chandra, William, Eric; great grandchild, Holden; sister, Diane (Peter) Lauska of Allegan. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jeremy and daughter-in-law, Geri. SERVICE Thursday, July 28, 2011, 3:00 PM at Haven Shores Community Church, 9608 Hiawatha Dr., West Olive with Rev.
