William Calvin Sipe

SIPE, MR. WILLIAM CALVIN Norton Shores, MI Mr. William Calvin Sipe, age 81, died Thursday, March 20, 2003. He was born in Goldsboro, PA on June 2, 1921 to William & Lillian Mae Millard Sipe & married the former Rhena Sheetz, who preceded him in death in 1978. He then married the former Loretta Easton Bixby in May of 2001. Mr. Sipe was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He had been employed as a Salesman at Farr View Dairy from 1949 to 1964 & then went to work for McDonald's Dairy until retiring in 1980. He was a member of Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ, V.F.W. #3195, Fruitport Lions & had served as a Scout Leader for 8 years. SURVIVORS Wife, Loretta; daughter, Beverly Carskadon of Grand Haven; stepson, Daniel Nancy Sheesley of Whitehall; stepdaughter, Diane Gene Bishop of Fruitport; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Sipe of Harrisburg, PA & 1 brother, Harry Mary Sipe of Halifax, PA. SERVICE Monday, March 24, 2003, 12:00 PM at Fruitport Congregational United Church of Christ with Pastor Don Wood officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
