William J. Roach

ROACH, MR. WILLIAM J. East Lansing, MI formerly of Muskegon, MI Mr. William J. Roach, age 85, died Tuesday, October 1, 2002. He was born in Baltimore, MD on May 30, 1917 to Charles R. & Marie Struck Budres & married the former Eleanore Tripp in 1947. Mr. Roach served his country in the U.S. Navy Merchant Marines & had been employed as a Design Engineer at B Design, Gardner Denver until retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, the Muskegon Y's Men's Club & enjoyed oil painting & playing the organ. SURVIVORS 1 son, Eric Susan Roach of Okemos, MI; 1 daughter, Dr. Hazel Dr. Paul, Ph.D Delcourt, Ph.D of Knoxville, TN; 2 granddaughters, Michelle Delcourt & Stephanie Delcourt; 1 sister, Dorothy Budres of Essex, MD; 1 brother, Charles R. Budres Jr. of Milford, CT. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanore in March of 1996. SERVICE a private family service was held. There will be no visitation.
