William "Bill" Moore

Mr. William "Bill" Moore, age 80, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007. Mr. Moore was born May 12, 1927 to Charles H. and Dora (Cowles) Moore in Muskegon. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII. On November 17, 1950 he married the former Clarabelle V. Gonyon. Bill was employed as an auto mechanic for various service garages around the Muskegon area and enjoyed restoring and racing cars. He was a member of VFW Post #7729. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Clarabelle; 7 children, Bill (Trudy) Moore of Bitely, MI, Larry (Diana) Moore, Sandra (George) Jackson, Robert Moore, Linda (Mike) Beluzar, Roger (Christine) Moore and Nancy (Ray) Stowers, all of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mary (Cecil) McDonald of Muskegon and many nieces and nephews. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with full military rites. A gathering at the VFW Post #7729, 6285 E. Apple Ave. will take place following the graveside service.
