MONHOLLEN, MR. WILLIAM JOHN Hesperia Formerly of Holland Mr. William J. Monhollen, age 73, died Thursday, July 15, 2004. He was born in Corbin, Kentucky on September 11, 1930 to Elmer & Cora Belle Barton Monhollen & married the former Mary Tejeda on March 31, 1949 in Kentucky. Mr. Monhollen had been employed as a Machinist at H.E. Morse Inc. of Holland for 30 years until retiring in 1984. Following retirement he owned & operated Bill's Trailer Rentals of Holland. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church of Coopersville & attended St. Michaels of Brunswick, MI. He was a former Local President of I.A.M. & a proud active member of Newaygo County Democratic Party. Mr. Monhollen enjoyed hunting, fishing, card playing traveling & socializing. SURVIVORS 3 daughters, Shirley Michael Raczynski of Holland, Mary Lou Thomas Hilldore of Holland & Teresa David Silva of Hesperia; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Joy Saylors of KY & Jean Hastings of Hamilton, MI; 2 brothers, Jim Donna Jones of Hesperia & Frank Barb Barton of Hesperia; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 1993, 1 son, William Jr. in 1994 & by a grandson, Billy. SERVICE Monday, July 19, 2004, 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church of Coopersville with Fr. John Vallier & Fr. Michael Alber officiating. Interment in St. Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery - Coopersville. VISITATION Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at St. Michael's Catholic Church of Coopersville with a vigil service at 8:30 PM. MEMORIAL: St. Michael's Catholic School of Brunswick. Clock - Fruitport
