William Jones

Mr. William C. Jones, age 89, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 26, 1920 to George & Beatrice (Mudge) Jones and served his country in the US Army. He married the former Edna Parker who passed away in 1990 and later married Rose Jowar who passed away in 2005. Mr. Jones had been employed as a machinist at Continental Motors for over 25 years until retiring. He was a watchmaker who enjoyed repairing watches and clocks. He will be dearly missed. SURVIVORS Sons, Michael (Lois) Jones of Muskegon, Rickie Jones of Muskegon, Douglas (Sandy) Jones of Grand Haven, Jeffrey (Cindy) Jones of Grand Haven; daughter, Susan (Charles) Port of Crystal Falls; 5 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both wives; brother, Harold, sister, Leta; granddaughter, Lisa. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Monday, 4-7 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon.
