William Hanna

Mr. William F. Hanna, age 89, passed away Friday, December 18, 2009. He was born in Marne, MI on January 12, 1920 to William & Mabel (Young) Hanna and served his country in the US Navy. He married the former Leola Ferris on May 27, 1950. Mr. Hanna had been an Attorney, a District Court Judge in Muskegon & Prosecuting Attorney in Oceana County until retiring in 1983. He was a charter member of Lake Harbor United Methodist Church. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Children, Mary Kay (Roger) Relich of Rockford, William L. Hanna of Muskegon, John (Jackie) Hanna of FL, Nancy Hart of Rockford, Thomas (Karen) Hanna of FL; grandchildren, Emily (Bill) Burgess, Nikita (Brad) VandenBosch, Ian Hart, Alexandria Hart, Zachary Hanna, Brittani Hanna; great grandchildren, Mark C. Porter, Micaela VandenBosch, Lilian Burgess; cat, Taffy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leola; parents; grandson, Mark W. Porter & brother, Robert. SERVICE Tuesday, December 22, 2009, 11:00 AM at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Erbes officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon and Tuesday, 1 hour prior to the service at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church.
