GROULX, MR. WILLIAM EDWARD Muskegon Hts., MI Mr. William Edward Groulx, age 90, died Sunday, April 6, 2003. He was born in St. Clair, MI on October 20, 1912 to Edward & Sarah Hendrick Groulx & married the former Eleanor Tripp in South Haven, MI in 1939. Mr. Groulx had been employed by Norge Division of Borg-Warner, after which he worked as an insurance salesman & was also a foreman at S.D.Warren until his retirement. He was a member of Michigan State Troops, served in the U.S. 9th Army in North Germany & was wounded in combat. Mr. Groulx served his country for 45 years in Boy Scouts of America, was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. Chapter 11, was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church & Brotherhood of St. Andrew. SURVIVORS His wife of 63 years, Eleanor; 1 son, William Susan Groulx of Muskegon, MI; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer & Katherine Groulx; 1 great grand- daughter, Kaley Houston; 1 sister-in-law, Lois Groulx of AR; 1 niece, Karen Joseph Hawrysz of Muskegon, MI; 1 nephew, John Debbie Pattenger of North Muskegon, MI. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marion Dick Pattenger & by his brother, John Groulx. MEMORIAL SERVICE Thursday, April 10, 2003, 1:00 PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Fr.
