FISCHER, MR. WILLIAM BILL-WILLIE Cedar Springs, MI Bill Fischer, 66 , formerly of Grand Haven, now of Cedar Springs, MI and Sebastian, FL, passed awasy Saturday, June, 18, 2005, at St. Marys Hospital, Grand Rapids, MI, from complications of a stroke. He was born in E. Chicago, IN on Jan. 9, 1939 to William B. and Molly Tenkely Fischer and graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1956. He married the former Sandra Case in 1993. Mr. Fischer was a member of of the Boy Scouts of America, Elks, Moose Lodge #1776, Eagles Lodge #4067, Orioles Lodge #272, Grand Valley Boat Club and Michigan Road Runners Motorcycle Club. Mr. Fischer retired in 1995 from the City of Grand Rapids. Bill had many and varied hobbies including, fishing, gun collecting, camping, arrowhead hunting, fine woodworking and painting. He enjoyed music, playing his guitar, harmonica and gut bucket, as well as writing and singing his own songs. He liked to cook and have campfires for friends and family. He enjoyed giving his friends and family things he collected of a recycled nature. Besides being an interesting and humorous person, he was a true and good friend. Survivors include his wife, Sandra; 2 sons, Kelly Fischer and fiance, Anita Skains of Phoenix, AZ and Bill Gina Fischer of West Olive, MI; 2 daughters, Shawn Bruce Bronkema of West Olive, MI and Jill Fischer and Fiancee Christopher Coppens of Holland, MI ; 6 grandchrildren, Kelli Jo, Kyle, Ryan, Eli, Grayson and Stratton; 3 great grandchildren; Kassondra, Adam and Abby; 2 brothers, Robert and James Fischer of Grand Haven, MI; a sister, Marlene Patrick Perry of Spring Lake, MI; many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Molly Fischer. SERVICE Friday, June 24, 2005, 11:00 AM at Clock Funeral Home, Grand Haven, with Pastor Larry Kayser officiating..
