William Farnquist

Mr. William Robert Farnquist, age 84, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He was born in Muskegon, MI on February 3, 1934 to William & Dorothy (Manchesky) Farnquist and served his country in the US Navy. He married the former Jacqueline Corbin on October 18, 1958. Mr. Farnquist worked for GTE for 30 years until retirement. William was a member at Trinity Baptist Church, enjoyed bowling, sports, was an avid Tigers, Redwings, Pistons & Lions fan. Mr. Farnquist also enjoyed gardening & walking his dogs. SURVIVORS Wife of 60 years, Jackie; children, Timothy (Jennifer) Farnquist of Norton Shores; Jeffrey (Cynthia) Farnquist of Great Falls, VA; SMSgt Gary (CMSgt Laina) Farnquist of Chsterfield, MI; William (Tina) Farnquist of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Betty) Farnquist of PA; Ronald (Sue) Farnquist of Grand Haven; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Russell, Lyle & Don. SERVICE Saturday, January 5, 2019, 12:00 PM with visitation an hour and a half prior to the service at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Church officiating.
