William "Bill" Joseph Collins

William J. "Bill" Collins age 83 passed away December 9, 2020 in Muskegon. He was born March 29, 1937 to Ora and Jessie (DeWitt) Collins in Muskegon and spent most of his life in Muskegon. William married Patricia L. (Charron) Collins in December 1962. Bill was a Tool & Die Maker and worked for Muskegon Tool Industries Inc., Sealed Power Corp. (SPX Corp.), and Dana Corporation before retiring at age 61. Bill was an avid fisherman & sportsman and spent a lot of time during his life fishing on Lake Michigan and deer hunting. He enjoyed motorcycles, local car races on the weekends, and visiting with family & friends. Bill is survived by his daughters Kimberly (Manuel Martinez) Crews and Rhonda Collins; son, Jeffrey (Terri) Muston; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; siblings: Janice (Jim Sala) Edsall and Kenneth Collins; many in-laws, nephews, nieces, and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his wife Patricia and his parents; sons, William J. Collins, Jr. and William M. Collins; brother, Edgar Collins; brother in-law, Charles William Edsall Sr; Nephew, Charlie Edsall Jr. Per Bill's wishes cremation will take place and there will be no service.
