William "Bill" Bernard Taylor, 68, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away on March 20, 2026.
Born in Roanoke, Virginia, on January 18, 1958, he was a son of the late Clarence William Taylor and Polly Jane Taylor-Phelps. Known to his family as Bernard and to his friends in Michigan as Bill, he was a proud graduate of Cave Spring High School, class of 1976. Immediately following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving his country honorably for three years.
After his military service, Bill relocated to Michigan in the early 1980s, a state he grew to love and call home. He worked for many years as a Director of Janitoral Services at Union Chemical Industries in Grand Rapids, MI, until his retirement. In his quiet time, Bill enjoyed cooking, watching television, and following sports.
He is survived by his loving mother, Polly Taylor-Phelps, and his devoted sister, Dr. Donna R. Taylor, good friend Mike Casey. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence William Taylor.
A private cremation will take place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Clock Funeral Home.
