William Randall Arntson

ARNTSON, MR. WILLIAM RANDALL Norton Shores Mr. William R. Arntson, age 83, died Thursday, June 24, 2004. He was born in East Jordan, Michigan on October 4, 1920 to Albert & Julia Peterson Arntson and married the former Ruth Ahlstedt on May 15, 1948 in Muskegon. He was a graduate from Muskegon High School in 1938 and graduated from Muskegon Junior College in 1940. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Arntson had been employed as a Metallurgist at Teledyne Continental Motors and then worked in assembly at Clarke Floor Machine for 12 years until retiring in 1983. He was a member of Forest Park Covenant Church and enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. SURVIVORS Wife of 56 years, Ruth; 2 sons, David Sharon Arntson of Holland, & Thomas Karen Arntson of Fruitport; 1 daughter, Margaret Dave McLouth of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Wilson of Columbus, GA; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joseph Arntson & brother, Eldon Arntson. SERVICE Monday, June 28, 2004, 11:00 AM at Forest Park Covenant Church with Rev. Russell Carlson officiating. Interment at Norton Cemetery. VISITATION Monday, one hour prior to the service at Forest Park Covenant Church. MEMORIAL: Forest Park Covenant Church or Charity of Choice. Clock - Muskegon
