Mr. Willard "Bill" TenBrink, age 78, died Wednesday evening, October 22, 2008. He was born May 20, 1930 in Muskegon to Thomas and Anna (Hoekstra) TenBrink and had been a life resident. Mr. TenBrink served with the National Guard of Michigan and worked for Teledyne Continental Motors for 44 years before retiring in 1995. He was a 60 year member of East Muskegon Christian Reformed Church and a current member of Hope Reformed Church. Mr. TenBrink enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, and also spending time at his cottage on Campbell Lake. On July 12, 1952 he married the former Barbara V. Hardenburgh in Muskegon and she survives him along with 6 children, David (Pat) of Muskegon, Larry (Dawn) of Spring Lake, Gary (Dawn) of Fruitport, Nancy (Dan) Slater of Missouri, Debbie (Ryan) Hobbs of Texas, Tom (Cheryl) Stricklen of Grandville; 27 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Rosella Meekhof of Muskegon; and 5 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE will be 11:00 AM Monday at Hope Reformed Church with Rev. Steven Hyma officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 MEMORIALS to the Hope Reformed Church Memorial Fund will be appreciated.
