Mr. Wilburn R. Forton, age 88, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 17, 1924 to Arthur & Marie (Heim) Forton and served in the US Army during WWII. He married the former Dorothy Perkins on October 20, 1951. Mr. Forton had been employed as a machinist at American Coil Springs for 40 years until retiring in 1981. He attended St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church and was a member of VFW William J Beal Post 446, the American Legion, and Muskegon Eagles. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed gardening. SURVIVORS Wife of 61 years, Dorothy; sons, Thomas Forton of Muskegon; William (Louise) Forton of Norton Shores, Arthur (Brenda) Forton of Traverse City; daughter, Suzanne (Robert) Graham of Roosevelt Park; grandchildren, Brian Forton, Kyle Forton, Brett Graham, Zachery Graham, Jacie Forton, Lyndsey (Anthony) Bozzio, and Joseph (Ashley) Forton; great grandchild, Audrey Bozzio; brother, Delbert (Chris) Forton of CA. He was preceded in death by brother, Virgil and sisters, Delores and Mary. SERVICE Monday, June 24, 2013, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon.
