Wier, Jack B.

Mr. Jack B. Wier, age 73, died Sunday, January 14, 2007. He was born in Fruitport, MI on July 2, 1933 to Jacob & Goldie (DeGraw) Wier and married the former Patsy Cook on July 3, 1981. Mr. Wier had been employed as a Machinist at Teledyne Continental Motors for 41 years until retiring in 1991. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Fruitport, member of the U.A.W #113 & Fruitport Conservation Club. Jack loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting and spending his winters in Arizona. SURVIVORS Wife of 24 years, Patsy; daughter, Dorothy Willey of AZ; 2 step-sons, Dave & Garth Miller of Fruitport; 2 step-daughters, Jeanne (Jim) Knoll of N. Muskegon, Patty (Bryan) Rich of Fruitport; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Mayville of Muskegon; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters & 7 brothers.
