Mrs. Shirley Ellen Widener, age 82, died Sunday, December 3, 2006. She was born in Delray, MI on August 27, 1924 to Herman & Ella (Gabriel) Trominski. Mrs. Widener had been employed as an Insurance Underwriter at Home Insurance Company in Detroit and Grand Rapids for over 20 years until retiring in 1985. SURVIVORS 1 Daughter, Deborah Frankel of Grand Haven; 5 sons, Terry (Nancy)Widener of Jackson, Kevin (Luci) Widener of WA, Mark Widener of Grand Rapids, Timothy (Kimberly) Widener of Grand Haven, Christopher (Barb) Widener of Hudsonville; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson Paul Frankel. SERVICE There will be no services. MEMORIAL: American Heart Association or Hospice of Kent County.
