Wayne Strong

Mr. Wayne L. Strong, age 70, died Saturday, November 28, 2009. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on March 16, 1939 to Cal & Marian (Blaukamp) Strong and married the former Jocelyn Horsley on October 3, 1959. Mr. Strong had been employed as a Truck Driver for Roth Trucking and was also a volunteer fireman & Captain for Robinson Township Fire Department. SURVIVORS Wife of 50 years, Jocelyn; sons, Mitch (Mary) Strong of Zeeland, Andy (Sherri) Strong of Grand Haven; daughter, Anita (Kevin) Moon of Spring Lake; 6 granddaughters, Jaci, Trisha, Veronica, Isabella, Malea, Malin; great granddaughter, Makenzie; sister, Connie (Cal) Boeve of Holland; many cousins. SERVICE Wednesday, December 2, 2009, 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel-Grand Haven with Pastor Kevin Kleinheksel officiating. Interment at Robinson Township Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Grand Haven.
