Wayne Miles

Mr. Wayne Thomas Miles, age 61, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 following a lengthy battle from complications caused by diabetes. He was a generous and thoughtful person who loved music, sports and spending time with his family. Throughout his life he held many job positions but enjoyed restaurant management the most. He will be greatly missed by the many that knew him and his infectious laughter as he went through life bravely while often side lined with the effects of a disabling disease. SURVIVORS He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Bole Miles of Muskegon; brothers, Steven (Karen) Miles of Chase MI, Gary (Molly) Miles of Grand Haven, Joel (Lucia) Miles of North Muskegon, Bradley (Susan) Miles of New York; sisters, Lori (Dr. Erwin) Grasman of North Muskegon, Linda (Justin) Dickenson of OK; many nieces & nephews, Tiffany, Stephanie, DeAnna (Dean), Joseph (Carrie) & Dylan Miles, Michael & Justin Driver; special friends, Amy, Stanley & Karen. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Miles. MEMORIAL SERVICE A Memorial Service will be held to honor this brave and generous man Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 3:00-6:00 PM at V.F.W. Don Rea Post #8846, 1061 Witham Road, North Muskegon. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association Research Foundation or Pound Buddies.
