Warren Stepanek

Mr. Warren "Duke" Stepanek, age 73, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012. He was born in Minneapolis, MN on May 20, 1939 to David & Marion (Smith) Stepanek and served in the US Coast Guard. He and Pauline Merle celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 30. Mr. Stepanek worked for 35 years with IBEW as an electrician until retiring in 2000. He was an avid reader and boat builder who enjoyed canoe trips with his sons and visits with his grandchildren. SURVIVORS Wife, Pauline; sons, Greg (Sally) Stepanek of Grand Haven, Joel Stepanek of CA; grandchildren, Sarah several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICE Saturday, July 21, 2012, 11:00 AM and visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel-Grand Haven. MEMORIAL: American Heart Association.
