Walter P. Graber

Mr. Walter P. Graber, age 86, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, September 18, 2008. He was born in Grand Forks, ND on October 22, 1921 to Paul & Amelia Graber and served his country in the US Navy during WWII. Walter married Frieda Marshall, December 7, 1946. Mr. Graber had been employed as a Mechanical Engineer at Leco Corporation until retiring. He was a member of Community United Methodist Church. He was a lifetime Chicago Cubs fan, an avid golfer and fisherman. Walter was very proud of his grandchildren and their accomplishments; Anne for graduating from Grand Valley and becoming a school teacher and Zachary for entering the US Air Force and serving his country. SURVIVORS Son, Craig (Deborah) Graber of Hong Kong; daughter, Melissa (Joseph) Sura of North Muskegon; grand children, Anne & Zachary Sura; brothers, Arnold (Jean) Graber of St. Joseph, Edwin (Betty) Graber of AZ; sister, Helen (Lynn) Hill of Grand Rapids.
