Vivian Marie Netzler (Dumaw) went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 11, 2026, in Muskegon, MI. She was born on October 19, 1940, to Lester and Sarah Dumaw, also in Muskegon.
Vivian was the devoted wife of Kenneth Netzler and a beloved Mom, Grandma, Great‑grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Her family was her world. She was known for her kindness, her generous heart, and the way she cared deeply for every person she met. Her home was always open, and she consistently put others before herself.
A hardworking woman in every season of life, Vivian poured her energy into everything she touched-her jobs, her college studies, her home, and especially her family. She took great pride in preparing meals, cooking and baking weekly feasts for family and friends. No one ever left her home hungry, and everyone left feeling loved.
Vivian also had a special affection for animals-her cats, her grandbaby pets, and even the neighborhood kitties who knew they were welcome at her door. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music, spending time with her church family, canoeing, taking mini camping trips, and visiting casinos throughout Michigan. Her grandchildren and great‑grandbabies were the joy of her life, and along the way she "adopted" many more who came to love her as family.
Vivian is survived by her children:
Tamara McClain, Tricia (Glenn) Engel, Kenneth Netzler Jr., and Joan Netzler.
Grandchildren:
Brett Erickson (Heidi), Rachel Salazar (Nick), Rick Salazar, Kaitlyn Netzler, Kyle Netzler, Lorielle Sarters (Dale), Candice and Graham Kilmon, and Courtney Engel.
Great‑grandchildren:

Adopted grandchildren:

Siblings and extended family:
Sister Carol (Herman) Postema, brother‑in‑law David Harris, her Aunt Irene Schroeder, and many nieces, nephews, and beloved kitties.
She was preceded in death by:
Her husband, Kenneth Netzler Sr.; her parents, Lester and Sara Dumaw; siblings Charles (Dorthy) Durham, Edward (Y‑Vonne) Durham, Eleanor Durham, Lester (Julie) Dumaw, Frances Dumaw, and Elisa Harris; her in‑laws Edward and Alice Netzler; grandson Brandon Cox; son‑in‑law Lorren McClain; and granddaughter‑in‑law Allison Salazar.
Vivian's life was defined by love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the warmth she shared so freely.
