Virginia M. Strom

STROM, MRS. VIRGINIA M. Muskegon Mrs. Virginia M. Strom, age 78, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Sunday, September 2, 2001. She was born in Fremont, MI on February 4, 1923 to John & Cecil Wright Hoppa & married Russell Strom in 1956 in Muskegon. Mrs. Strom had worked as a Secretary for the Muskegon City Rescue Mission where she was a member of the Women's Auxiliary. She was a member of Parkside Alliance Church & served as a committee member on the missionary board. She also was a librarian at Grace Christian Academy. SURVIVORS 3 sons, Russell Strom, Jr. of Fruitport, Arthur John Carrie Strom of Grandville, MI & Timothy Betty Ann Strom of Grand Haven; 1 daughter, Ruth Ann Patrick Herman of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 8 sisters & 1 brother. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Russell Strom in 1996. SERVICE Wednesday, September 5, 2001, 11:00 AM at Parkside Alliance Church with Pastor David Martin officiating. Interment at Sherman Township Cemetery in Newaygo. There will be no visitation.
