Virginia Louise Olsen

Olsen, Mrs. Virginia Louise Muskegon,MI Mrs. Virginia Louise (Bourdon) Olsen, age 92, passed away May 28, 2022 from a brief illness. She was born March 18, 1930 to Stanley and Eleanor Bourdon in Muskegon, MI. Virginia attended St. Jean School. During her high school dance, she met Harold Olsen Jr. and later married her high school sweetheart. They were together for many years until his death. Virginia enjoyed gardening and working in the yard and continued to do so until just before her death. As a devout Catholic, Ginger served as a volunteer for 23 years at Loaves & Fishes Pantry in Muskegon. SURVIVORS Ginger left behind a legacy of love and kindness for all. She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Greg (Lin) Olsen, Bruce (Cheryl) Olsen, Nancy (Phil) Pottinger; grandchildren; Brandon (Amy) Olsen, Benjamin (Andrea) Olsen, Todd Olsen, Craig Olsen, Andrew (Jordyn) Pottinger and Matthew (Meagan) Pottinger; great- granddaughter's; Peri Olsen and Georgia Pottinger; sister; MaryJo Moblo, brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Larry & Marilyn Olsen, and sister-in-law Wilma (Bourdon) Morton. Our family would like to thank Dr. Karen L. Seaver, MD for the 42 years she lovingly cared for our mother. We would also like to thank the many friends, neighbors and relatives for their past and continued love and support. SERVICES Per Ginger's request, no formal service is planned.
