Virginia V. Gibbs

GIBBS, MRS. VIRGINIA V. Muskegon Mrs. Virginia V. Gibbs, age 90, died Monday, May 31, 2004. She was born in Big Rapids, MI on October 22, 1913 to Earl & Zella Whallon Blanchard and married W. Scott Gibbs on August 26, 1955. Mrs. Gibbs had been employed as an Inspector at Teledyne Continental Motors for 13 years until retiring in 1957. She was a member of Calvary Memorial Church and loved doing crossword puzzles and playing Yahtzee. SURVIVORS 2 sons, Victor Signs of FL & Robert Judy Signs of Coldwater, MI; 5 daughters, Dorothy Britzen of Muskegon, Dora Robert Hopkins of Branch, MI, Nancy Joe Frank of FL, Judy Pugh of TX & Jeanne Wilson Dutton of TN; 25 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lois Bud Anderegg of N. Muskegon; special friends, Bill & Elsie Kuerth of Muskegon; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990, 2 sisters, 1 brother and by a grandchild. SERVICE Friday, June 4, 2004, 11:00 AM at Calvary Memorial Church with Rev. Jeffery Dunn officiating. Interment at East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Christian Care Senior Care Community.
