Carlston, Ms. Virginia Delores Spring Lake, Mi Ms. Virginia Delores Carlston, age 87, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021. She was born in Fountain, MI on July 26, 1933 to Gerald & Sarah (Cryderman) Mavis and married LaVern Carlston. Virginia was a graduate of Custer High School in Custer, MI. Ms. Carlston was a bartender for the Spring Lake Holiday Inn, an administrative assistant for Nexes Realty, and a bookeeper at Lakeshore Ice Arena. Virginia loved going to the casino, bowling in her early years, and was a big Red Wings and Tigers fan. SURVIVORS Children, William (Marcie) Carlston, Doug (Mary) Carlston, Mark Carlston; Grandchildren, Megan (Matt) Johnson, Brock (Kylea) Carlston, April (Steve) Scanlon, Amber (Jason Davies) Carlston, Alicia (Derrick) Pauwels; Great-grandchildren, Cooper, Nella, Blakely, Lydia, Claire, Mason, Athena; Brother, Duke Mavis; Special Niece, Darleen Carlston. She was preceded in death by her former Husband, LaVern Carlston; Sister, Rita; Brother, Clayton. SERVICE A private family service will be held. Interment in Fruitland Township Cemetery.
