Virginia R Carlisle

Mrs. Virginia Ruth Carlisle, age 90, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on September 22, 1927 to Lester & Margaret (Torrenga) Conklin and married Robert Carlisle on August 14, 1944. Mrs. Carlisle had been a salesperson of Sarah Coventry Jewelry, Vivien Woodward cosmetics. & Shaklee for years. Virginia was a member of Cloverville Baptist Church. She was artistic and enjoyed sewing, polka & square dancing, singing, the lake, eating out and hugs. SURVIVORS Son, Gary (LaVonne) Carlisle of Muskegon; daughters, Linda Burns of Norton Shores, Diane Campbell of Muskegon, Kimberly (Thomas) Valk of FL; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brothers & sisters-in-law, Marvin (Betty) Carlisle, Bernie (Susan) Carlisle, Jean Carlisle, Ruth Carlisle; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert in 2004; sons-in-law, Terry Burns & David Campbell; sister, Valoyce Edwards. SERVICE Saturday, April 14, 2018, 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the service at Cloverville Baptist Church with Rev. John DenBoer officiating. MEMORIAL: Cloverville Baptist Church.
