Viola Olsen

Mrs. Viola 'Vi' C. Olsen, age 96, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013. She was born in Muskegon, MI on October 20, 1916 to Ernest & Essie (Eely) Christian. Mrs. Olsen had worked at Brunswick and as a house mother and care giver at Mercy Hospital. She was a life time member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. Vi enjoyed cooking, baking and taking care of people. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Son, Jack Johnson; daughters, Patricia (Gale) Nobes, Peggy Anderson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands, Arnold Johnson, Robert Olsen; son, Robert Johnson; daughter, Bonnie Harjer; brothers, Raymond and Gerald; best friend, Helene Phillips. SERVICE Saturday, August 24, 2013, 11:00 AM and visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Joseph Vest officiating. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery.
