Viola Jackson

Mrs. Viola Lee Jackson, age 92, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016. She was born in Jackson, Michigan on February 29, 1924 to Jesse & Rose Lee (Stiles) Butler and was preceded in death by husbands Verdon Walz, Russel Spence and Kenneth Jackson. Viola was a singer in the Moon Valley Sweethearts with her husband Ken in Tennessee. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Children, Joan C. Morris of Whitehall, Jerry R. (Marilyn) Walz of TX, Edwin (Diane) Spence of Weidmen, MI, Naoma Lee (Gerald) VanHassel of Muskegon, Nancy Lou Spence of TN; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brother, Jesse Butler of Jackson, MI; sister, Venius Mabley of FL; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands; brother, Paul and sister, Rose. GRAVESIDE SERVICE Monday, June 6, 2016, 1:00 pm at Fruitland Township Cemetery with Rev. Gene Walter officiating.
