Mr. Vincent P. Furnari, age 85, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 29, 2011. He was born in Detroit, MI on June 25, 1925 to Leonard & Mary (Furnari) Furnari and served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He married the former Joan Courtmanche. Mr. Furnari had been employed as a Tailor and was commissioned by former President Ronald Reagan until retiring. He was a member of the American Legion in Grandville and the Knights of Columbus in Fruitport. SURVIVORS Wife, Joan; sons, Michael Furnari of WV, Vincent (Cynthia) Furnari Jr. of NC; daughters, Nancy Furnari of TN, Toni (Tom) Welicki of FL, Kathleen (David) Raese of WV; Joan (Forrest) McPherson of Muskegon, Theresa (Tim) Dickerson of Middleville, Frances (Todd) Morgan of Sterling Hts.; grandchildren, Christian Furnari, Adam Isabelle Raese, Joan McPherson, Nicholas, Jeffrey, Benjamin & Alec Dickerson, Sonya Karash, Jason Degenais; great grandchildren, Coral, David Jr., Noah Karpinski; sister, Madeline Bross of Warren. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Margie Degenais & Loretta Tyler; brothers, Leo, Samuel & Joseph Furnari. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, June 11, 2011, 12:00 PM at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
