Mrs. Victoria A. Sexton "Chickie", age 96, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014. She was born in Cliffside Park, NJ on March 26, 1918 to John Joseph & Mary Margaret (Lawlor) McEvoy. She was the youngest of 13 children. On November 9, 1940 she married Harold W. Sexton. He preceded her in death in 1976. In 1946 she moved to Muskegon, MI. She was a homemaker and a partner in may of the businesses she and her husband owned, Rely-On in Fremont, Save-On in Whitehall and Sally Jon Bakery. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Sanctuary at McAuley and Mercy VNS & Hospice for their loving care. SURVIVORS Daughter, Judy Geyer of Norton Shores; grandchildren, Tracy (Dr. Jeffrey) Levitt of Commerce TWP, Meredith (Rodger) Dean of Brentwood CA, Daniel (Jean) McCollom of Whitehall; great grandchildren, Annie McCollom, Evan Dean, Matthew McCollom, Derek McCollom, Jared McCollom, Lauren Levitt and Adam Levitt. She was preceded in death by her parents; all her siblings and two sons-in-law. SERVICE Friday, August 22, 2014, 11:00 AM and visitation one hour prior to the service at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Anthony Pelak officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery.
