Victor Miller

Mr. Victor L. Miller, age 84, passed away early Friday morning, April, 6, 2007. He was born May 22, 1922 in Lake Linden, MI to Victor and Etta Miller. He married the former Patricia E. Hagstrom in Muskegon on June 10, 1944. He was a very active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he was the business manager, usher, parish councilman, and led various other activities and projects. He was also a member of the SERRA Club. Victor served in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He was employed for 50 years at Sealed Power Corporation where he, for many years, was manager of data processing. SURVIVORS: his wife, Patricia, whom he loved so very much; and wonderful father to 3 sons, Gregory S. (Suzanne) Miller of Norton Shores, Paul S. (Helen) Miller of Walker, MI, and Lauren P. (Barbara) Miller of Rockwall, TX; 1 brother, Raymond Miller of Edina, MN; 1 sister, Florence (James) Jackson of Muskegon; son-in-law, Joseph Tackx of Fruitport; sister-in-law, Marcie Hagstrom of North Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Victor was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia L. Tackx on March 9, 2002. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at 2 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Bauer presiding.INTERMENT: Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION: Tuesday, 2-4 & 6-8 P.M., at the Lee Funeral Home where a Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 P.M. MEMORIALS: Muskegon County Right to Life or Muskegon Catholic Central High School.
