Vicky Bennett

Vicky Lynn Bennett (Thomas), aged 71, of Muskegon passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018. She is survived by daughter Jillynn Bennett of Las Vegas; brother Rob Thomas of Coopersville; brother Rick Thomas of Marne; ex-husband and father of child Dennis Bennett of Nunica; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Warren Thomas; her mother Carolyn Marek; brother Randy Thomas; and step-father Robert Marek. Vicky was born in Polkton Township on February 17, 1947. She graduated in 1965 from Coopersville Senior High School and attended Grand Rapids Junior College from 1965-1967. From 1968-1972 she was an assistant librarian for Coopersville Public School Systems. Then she traveled around the US supervising blood plasma centers until 1978. Vicky worked for Lerner Shops in the Muskegon Mall and then was a homemaker until 1995. She worked for a packaging company and then for a cleaning service until her retirement in 2009. She enjoyed reading and exercising. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services or visitation.
