Smith, Mr. Vernon "Buck" Leander Muskegon Mr. Vernon "Buck" Smith, age 78, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on February 25, 1936 to Harold & Salome Smith and married the former Florence Gordon on July 13, 1963. Vernon retired from CWC after 35 years in 2000 as a foundry worker. He enjoyed Karaoke, camping and he was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. SURVIVORS Wife, Florence Smith; sons, Vernon "Buzz" Smith, Steven Smith; daughter, Bev (Jay) Welborn; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, three sisters and a grandson. SERVICE Tuesday, December 30, 2014, 1:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon with Rev. Carlos Ramos officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Monday, December 29, 2014, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon .
