Mrs. Vernelia A. Erickson, age 73, died Friday, November 11, 2011. She was born in Waterloo, Indiana on January 2, 1938 to Alva & Aileen (Smith) Rainier and married Dennis Erickson. Mrs. Erickson had been a Homemaker and enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, crossword puzzles, flowers, shopping and yard sales. SURVIVORS Husband of 54 years, Dennis; sons, Rick Erickson, Clifford Erickson, both of Twin Lake, Scott (Erma) Erickson of Holton, Darrell Erickson of Twin Lake; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Ed Rainier of Lake City, MI; sisters, Anita Burt of OH, Glenda (Edwin) Peterson of Lake City, MI; stepdaughter, Georgia (Scott) Potter of Twin Lake; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Artdy) Erickson, Thrue (Gala) Erickson, both of FL; sister-in-law, Ellen (Duane) Sugarbaker of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Nancy Rainier; brother-in-law, Clyde Burt. SERVICE Monday, November 21, 2011, 1:00 PM and visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Matt VanderKooi officiating.
