Vera Young

YOUNG, MRS. VERA MADEL North Muskegon Mrs. Vera M. Young, 86, passed away Saturday morning, March 20, 2004. She was born August 6, 1917 in Hesperia to Mirth and Sherman Draggoo and married Albert J. Young, owner and President of Lyons Machine and Tool Company in Muskegon. After 46 years of marriage, he preceded her in death. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and in her later years a member at the Community United Methodist Church in North Muskegon. Vera was a long time Muskegon resident, and enjoyed traveling, bridge club, reading, volunteering at the Walker Library, and time spent with family and friends. SURVIVORS 3 sons, Gregory of Spring Lake, his wife, Jill and their children, Sean, Tiffany, Megan, and Mindi; Ronald of Manistee, his wife, Peggy and their children, Jeanne, Ronda, and Lisa; Larry of Spring Lake, his wife, Wendy and their sons, Justin and Adam;6 great grandchildren; niece, LaMyrna John Loss of Whitehall; nephew, Terrance Hertha Draggoo of Denver, CO. She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl and her sister, Verna. SERVICE A private memorial service will be held. MEMORIAL: North Muskegon Walker Memorial Library. Clock - Muskegon
