Vera M. Ferguson

Mrs. Vera M. Ferguson, age 87, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008. She was born in Shelby, Michigan on July 9, 1920 to Edgar & Esther (Williams) Johnson and married Jack R. Ferguson on September 9, 1945. Mrs. Ferguson had been employed as a Sales Person at Hardy-Herpolsheimers & Sears for 10 years until retiring. She was member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a wonderful mother & friend who will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS 3 sons, Mark (Linda) Ferguson of N. Muskegon, Gregory (Vicky) Ferguson of Hudsonville MI, Richard ( Carol) Ferguson of Wayland MI; 3 grandchildren, Amanda Ferguson, Jenna (Jason) Caniff, Anna (Robert) Cavasos; 4 great grandchildren, Anthony, Robert Jr., Nathaniel, Gabrielle; brother, Donald Johnson of Ludington MI; sister, Gertrude (Eston) Brooks of Port Huron MI. Mrs. Ferguson was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, in 1997, and a sister Kay Slater. SERVICE Saturday, May 10, 2008, 2:00 PM at Clock Chapel with Rev. William Uetricht officiating. Interment at Elbridge Township Cemetery at a later date. VISITATION Saturday, one hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice.
