Van Allsburg Mary

Mary B. Van Allsburg, age 89, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009. Cremation has taken place and her ashes placed in the Columbarium at Central United Methodist Church, Muskegon, MI. In lieu of flowers, contributions remembering her may be made to Central Untied Methodist Church, 1011 Second, Muskegon, MI 49440 or the Michigan 4H Foundation Memorial Fund, 4700 Hagadorn Rd., Suite 220, East Lansing MI 48823-5399. Mary was born February 21, 1920 in Shelby, MI and grew up in Oceana County. She graduated from Hart High School, Oceana County Normal, and Michigan State University. She was a teacher and social worker. She enjoyed many years of helping others.
