Valerie Rose Corlew

Valerie Rose Corlew, Age 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday Morning, February 6th, 2026. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 2nd, 1956 to Norman and Rose (Wright) Corlew Sr, and has been a life long resident of the area. She was retired from Mercy Hospital as a sterial technician. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed camping with her mother and playing cards/dice. Valerie is survived by her 2 children, Shannon Minzey & Tony (Rose) Minzey, her 4 Grandchildren CJ Beer, Star Ramirez, Alex (Alyssa) Minzey, and Tyler Minzey, 5 Great-Grandchildren, Aly, Beckham, Ja'vontae, Novah, & Emani, along with her 2 brothers Norman Corlew Jr and Tye Corlew, and many neices and nephews. Valerie was proceeded in death by her parents Rose & Norman Corlew Sr, and her brothers Michael Corlew & Errol L. Corlew Sr.
Per her wishes, there is no memorial service scheduled at this time. There will be a private burial service with her Children, Grandchildren, and close family at a later date.
