Valente Medrano Torres

Valente Medrano Torres, age 76, passed away June 15, 2023 surrounded by his family. Valente was born May 27, 1947 in Uvalde, Texas to late Cecilio G. and Dominga Torres. On July 22, 1978 he married his late wife Ramona Torres who passed on September 18, 2010. He is survived by their children Aviel (Angie) De La Rosa, Paul De La Rosa (Vicki), Melinda Torres, Cecilia Torres (Carlos), Cristina Torres (Sean): grandchildren Erik (Sarah), Steven (CJ), Stefanie (Andy), Niko, Alex (Sandra), Seana (James), Brandon, Cristian (Brock), Hannah (Donald), Jordan, Gina, Elvis and Ava: great grandchildren Landon, Avani, Raelynn, Aly, Gabriel, Beckham, Tanner, Arianna, Michael, Aiden, James, Lylah, Novah, and Aurorah Valente's surviving brothers and sisters include Johnny Torres, Cecilio Torres Jr., Isabel Velez and Linda Ford, as well and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Ramon De La Rosa, and brothers Baloy and Laurencio, and sisters Rosario and Torma. He retired from Metal Technologies in 2009. His greatest gifts were shared in spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Per Valente's wishes, cremation has taken place.

MEMORIAL:

Celebration of his life will be held Sunday August 13, 2023 at 2 pm to 5 pm at the North Muskegon VFW#8846 1061 Witham Dr, Muskegon MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fifth Third Bank of MI.
