To View Video http://clock.mem.com/display/biography.asp?ID=909068 ZONDERMAN, MRS. TRYN Muskegon Mrs. Tryn Zonderman, age 85, died peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2005. She was born on a coastal sailing barge in the Netherlands on April 1, 1920 to Albert & Hillechina Bakker Woudstra. Tryn married Klaas Zonderman on October 16, 1941 in the Netherlands. Mrs. Zonderman arrived in the United States by ship with her family on June 27, 1957 in New York City, New York. From there, they traveled by train to Muskegon. Tryn became a citizen of the United States in September of 1963. She was a long time member of First Reformed Church and Hope Reformed Church. Mrs. Zonderman was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Klaas Zonderman, in 1973. She loved crossword puzzles, woodcarving, bowling, needlepoint and knitting for her grandchildren. SURVIVORS 1 son, Reinder Bonny Everett Zonderman of Suttons Bay, MI; 1 daughter, Hillechina Hillie Robert Martin of Ravenna, MI; 5 grandchildren, Marjorie Eric Saxe of Muskegon, MI, Michael Martin of Ravenna, MI, Melissa Nicholas Rich of San Diego, CA, Robby Martin of Chicago, IL and Angela Zonderman of Phuket, Thailand; 3 great grandchildren, Brittany, Ty & Ryan Saxe of Muskegon, MI. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clock Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Memorials may be made to the Muskegon Rescue Mission.
